Keeway recently launched the SR125 at Rs 1.19 lakh in India, making it the entry point to the brand’s Indian line-up. At this price point, it sits a notch above its 125cc peers and is priced similar to a few larger products.

Keeway SR125 vs competitors: prices compared

Keeway’s latest entrant in the Indian two-wheeler marketplace, the SR125, has some major rivals in the 125cc space from large and established manufacturers such as Hero, Honda and TVS. Hero’s Glamour XTEC, Honda’s SP125 and the TVS Raider 125 cost Rs 89,438, Rs 87,522 and Rs 93,489, respectively, for the top-spec, disc brake-equipped variant. This pricing makes them Rs 25,000-29,000 more affordable than the Keeway SR125.

In terms of output and displacement, the Keeway SR125 competes with the aforementioned 125cc offerings, but in terms of pricing, it competes with a few larger machines. The Yamaha FZ-FI, which comes only in a single variant, costs Rs 1,13,700, making the SR125 more expensive by Rs 6,300. The Xtreme 160R’s base variant (with a rear drum brake), costs Rs 1,17,786, which is again more affordable by Rs 1,214 compared to the Keeway.

While the NTorq 125 isn’t a direct competitor – it isn’t a geared motorcycle like the bikes mentioned earlier – it does have an air-cooled engine displacing roughly the same capacity and brings a lot of convenience into the picture with its CVT gearbox. The most expensive and tech-laden variant, the NTorq XT, costs Rs 99,961, making it a substantial Rs 20,000 more affordable than the Keeway SR125.

All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi.

At this price would you pick the Keeway SR125 over its larger, feature-rich and more affordable rivals? Let us know in the comments section below.
